Dr. Rosemary Erickson (1964)

Rosemary Erickson photoAs a forensic sociologist, Rosemary has served as an expert witness in criminal cases across the country, but her new book chronicles her South Dakota roots.  Prairie Patriarch: A Farmer’s Daughter who becomes an Expert Witness on Violent Crime focuses on her father, Dewey, as he grew up and then raised his family in rural South Dakota.  Rosemary’s upbringing and the lessons she learned from her father influenced her work in forensic sociology and set the stage for her upcoming book, The Life of an Expert Witness: Testifying on Violent Crime.
