• The 3D Printer is located in Media Services on the lower level of the library. Feel free to visit, see the printer in action, and examine some of the objects that have already been printed.

• The 3D Printing service is available to all students, faculty, and staff of Augustana University. The actual printing process is performed by Media Services staff.

1. Fill out the 3D printing form and attach your .stl or .obj file(s)

2. We will email you to let you know your item was received, a price and time estimate, and if there are problems with the file. If there are problems, you can resubmit the file after repairs are made, or come to Media Services and have our staff help you make the changes.

3. Respond that you agree to the price quoted and that you want the item printed.

4. We will contact you when your project is completed.

5. Pick up your 3D print in Media Services.  We can arrange for an after 6:00 pm pickup time at the Main Circulation Desk.

Media Services price list. 3D printing is $1.00 per printing hour.  We accept cash, checks, or department charges.
