Mikkelsen Library provides proctoring services without charge. The proctor policy articulates the procedures for professors and students. Ginger Konz (proctor@augie.edu - 605.274.4921) is the library’s coordinator of proctoring services. Any full-time library staff member may serve as the proctor. Professors must complete the Proctor Request Form before students can schedule exam times. There is no designated enclosed area for testing. Students will be seated near the staff area, but library staff will only provide occasional monitoring. After the Proctor Request Form has been received, students can arrange the test time by e-mailing proctor@augie.edu. Students may not begin an exam within 90 minutes of the library closing. The library doors will be locked after 6pm and will require a key card to access the library Monday - Thursday. Visiting students should call the library to gain access to the building if they have scheduled to take their exam after 6pm.
