Alumni of Augustana University or Sioux Falls Seminary

Alumni may request courtesy library cards upon request. With their courtesy card, alumni may check out items for four weeks with one renewal period, or media items for one week. Reference services and instruction on use of library resources is also available. Alumni may also request use of online databases while in the library. Recent graduates (within one year) may request limited Interlibrary Loan services.

Augustana Library Associates

Members of the Augustana Library Associates may receive courtesy cards upon request. In addition to borrowing privileges, reference services, and use of library databases while inside the library, Library Associates may take advantage of Interlibrary Loan (ILL) services. The first ten ILLs each year are free, thereafter the library will assess a small fee per item to cover our costs.

Alumni, or any others interested in supporting the Mikkelsen Library, are invited to join Library Associates to obtain a courtesy card or additional library privileges. (Link to Library Associates page)
