Karin Miller ('87) lives in Minneapolis with her family. She is an award-winning author and editor who enjoys finding the intriguing stories in people's lives.

Miller discovered one such story in "The Laundry Evangelist," Patric Richardson, after attending one of his popular laundry camps at his boutique, Mona Williams, located in the Mall of America. Their second book, House Love, offers practical advice on how to care for every room in the house. The chapters blend conversational storytelling with DIY guidance, featuring helpful tips on everything from cleaning a variety of surfaces to decorating with intention and style. Whether you live in a cozy studio apartment or a sprawling mansion, House Love provides valuable insights to help you care for and elevate your home.

Karin's other books include The Cancer Poetry Project, The Cancer Poetry Project 2, and another collaboration with Patric Richardson, Laundry Love.
House Love is available on the Alumni display at the Mikkelsen Library.
