Traci Lambrecht, writing as P.J. Tracy, is the coauthor/author of fourteen novels. Monkeewrench (2003), the first in a series by the same name, is a cyberthriller set in Minneapolis featuring a set of brilliant and eccentric characters. Tracy and her mother, P.J., authored eight Monkeewrench novels before P.J.'s death in 2016.
Traci has continued the Monkeewrench series and in 2021 launched a new series featuring Detective Margaret Nolan and Army Veteran Sam Easton, a survivor of the Afghanistan conflict. Her most recent novel, The Deepest Cut, returns to the beloved characters of Monkeewrench including Minneapolis homicide detectives Leo Magozzi and Gino Rolseth.
Lambrecht's work showcases stories rich in real life experiences and moral dilemmas from a woman struggling to succeed in a profession dominated by men to a troubled veteran trying to move beyond survivor's guilt while helping others along the way.
A graduate of St. Olaf, Lambrecht lived in the Los Angeles area until her mother's illness and subsequent death, returning to Minneapolis where she discovered a thriving community of fellow writers.
