About the Artist
Russ Duerksen is a South Dakota wildlife artist. He draws inspiration for his paintings from the wildlife found in South Dakota. He graduated from Southeast Technical Institute with a degree in graphic art. Many of his paintings since 1990 have won contests, featuring them on mailing stamps. Duerksen tours the region exhibiting his paintings at festivals adn art shows. He lives in South Dakota with his wife, Rhonda.
