Arne Karhu (1904-1984) lived in Minnesota with his wife, Anna, and their twin sons, Raymond and Clifton. They resided in Duluth for a time, where Arne worked as a clerk for George A. Hormel Co. and took up painting. Later, they moved to Worthington. Both Arne and Anna were artists, and Arne's painting, Birch Tree Landscape, is on display in the library.
