About the Artist
Jackie Bird is a South Dakota artist who specializes in Native American art, dancing, and singing. She is a member of the Sisseton Wahpeton Tribe of South Dakota and the Three Affiliated Tribes of North Dakota. she is an internationally renowned artist who has traveled to many different countries in four different continents promoting an understanding for Native American culture. In 2002 Bird was invited to perform in the Winter Olympic Games in Salt Lake City, Utah.
