Gisele Robinson was born in Germany and received her education in Switzerland and Sweden before moving to the United States in 1955, where she studied at Fresno State College .Although she has studied with several prominent landscape artists, Robinson considers herself largely self-taught. The open prairies, high plains, and vast skies of Wyoming and South Dakota serve as the primary inspiration for her work. Specializing in oils, she captures the beauty of the western landscape, with her art featured in both public and private collections across Europe and the United States. Robinson currently resides in Wyoming with her family and has earned numerous accolades, including the prestigious title of "Grand Wyoming Artist" awarded by the Wyoming Artist Association.
