Shari Hamilton is a freelance artist formerly from North Dakota. She is known for capturing emotion in the facial expressions in her pieces. She made the Hans Christian Andersen sculpture in Minot, ND, which was an inspiration for the smaller bronze statue commissioned for hte Mikelsen Library.
